Marie Antoinette was visually stunning as well as entertaining. For people expecting a period accurate movie, this is not the movie for you. This is more of a casual modern interperatation of Marie Antoinette's life based in the 18th century. Most of the dialogue and situations are in one way or another adapted to modern times. Its a very funny film about the coming of age of a teenage princess. The soundtrack works well with this movie, reminds me of "The Breakfast Club", "16 Candles"...etc. Funny and sexy. Keep an eye out for a pair of Chuck Taylors. ;)

If you are into Chill Out or down tempo sounds, then this is an unexpected release for BT. BT known usually for his high energy trance tracks, releases a surprisingly good Chill Out ambient CD in Binary Universe. Although there are signiture BT touches, it is a relaxing CD. If you pick up the CD, you will also recieve an accompanying DVD of all the music videos.

Unfortunately I've already seen Infernal Affairs, the film which The Departed is based on, and I am a bit biased. The Departed has an all star cast, but it still fall short compared to Infernal Affairs in regards to character development, and suspense. The Departed lacks the pace and slickness that the original movie had. It is a good movie but not one of Scorsese's best efforts.

After seeing this film in the theater I knew I had to own it.

As with any Wes Anderson film, the characters are eccentric and likeable. Funny and offbeat.

People who are fans of Hong Kong Cinema, rarely think about any other subject other than mobster or kungfu flicks. Wong Kar Wai is anything but those. There is a reason why WKW goes to Cannes and wins with his films.

In The Mood For Love is really story driven, there are only a handful of characters that you get to see in the whole movie, yet the story is quite rich and deep. In the Mood for Love, is inspiring from its visuals and create use of music. Nat King Cole singing Latin Jazz... where does he find this stuff!

You will love this film once you watch it, especially if you're a designer.

With all the rave over the new movie, The Departed, Infernal Affairs is the film which it is adapted from. Infernal Affairs is in many ways better than The Departed. There is a lot more depth in the characters and story development than The Departed. You really feel for the characters in Infernal Affairs, whereas in The Departed things seem like they were just glossed over.

My biggest gripe about The Departed is that Scorsese did not even get the Chinese mobsters right! These guys barely even spoke Cantonese right. Plus, if they were dealing with the Chinese government, I think they should speak Mandarin!

I bet if you have or get the chance to watch Infernal Affairs, you will definitely see how Scorsese fell REAL short in The Departed.

Definitely WATCH this movie! Owning it is a MUST!
